The first official product of Arcana Battle Colosseum (ABC, in short) will be available this weekend at your favourite store!
As we explained in previous articles, to develop the ABC Duel Decks we have used so many themes: Twelve Sacred Knights, Zombies, Wizards, Daimyos, Ninjas… we hope you are as excited about them as we were about creating them!
To match the wording we are using in 2024, our rules experts have also updated so many cards on the ABC Duel Decks. Furthermore, in these decks, we have applied the Reworking Protocol to some cards (22, to be exact). We will reveal those cards next week with the Banned List update. And as these cards will count as cards with the Reworking Protocol applied, you will also be able to get the non-J/ruler cards easily at reduced rarity in MP02 booster packs!
About the contents of the ABC Duel Decks
Each ABC Duel Deck represents the confrontation of one of the Heroes of Cocoon vs one of the Forgotten Kings and Queens of Cocoon. To do this, inside each ABC Duel Deck come two different decks, whose cards do not share attributes. ABC Duel Deck 06, the Void Deck, is special: the content of the two decks inside is identical. This is so to represent the particularity of the world of Solaris.
We have created 64 new cards for the ABC Duel Decks. These new cards are exclusive to the ABC Duel Decks. Also, inside each of the ABC Duel Decks, two additional booster packs are included. These booster packs consist of 9 new exclusive ABC cards and 1 Winning Crystal token. Thanks to these booster packs, if you purchase 1x of each ABC Duel Deck, you will get a complete playset (4x) of all the new non-J/ruler mono-attribute cards.
There are exactly 10 new multi-attribute cards in the ABC Duel Deck, one of each combination of attributes. If you purchase 1x of each ABC Duel Deck, you will get half a playset (2x) of each of those cards. To make collecting the new multi-attribute cards easier, we gave them as a gift to each WGP 2024 competitor, but for each one of you that wasn’t there, we have decided to include three random copies of the new ABC multi-attribute cards as Buy-a-Box cards in MP02 boxes.
